SMD Solutions SIA is a dynamic and customer-oriented company specializing in the production of high-quality wooden pallets and other wooden products. The company’s headquarters and production facility are located in a strategically advantageous location - Salaspils, Latvia.

SMD Solutions started its operations in 2015 as a trading company. In 2017, the company launched full-cycle wooden pallet production at its production facility in Salaspils, which allowed it to fully control the production process and ensure higher quality standards for planning and execution.

In the spring of 2019, an investment was made in a modern and automated production line. The introduction of this technology allowed to increase production capacity by 300%, significantly improving the quality of delivered pallets and at the same time optimizing production costs. As a result, SMD Solutions was able to offer its customers competitive price solutions.

In 2024, investments were made in production - a modern pallet production line was purchased from Italy, which allowed us to speed up production processes and significantly increase the total production capacity.

Alongside automated production, manual labor is still an integral part of the process, especially when producing non-standard sized pallets. SMD Solutions specializes in meeting individual customer requirements, offering pallets with specific dimensions, such as 2000x800 mm, 2000x900 mm, 2030x1400 mm, 2030x1600 mm, 2550x1200 mm, 3050x1200 mm.

The ability to adapt to the individual needs of customers was the main condition for the decision to start its own production of non-standard pallet solutions in 2017. Currently, approximately 90% of the total production volume is non-standard pallets with customized lengths and structures.
